Selection of Port wines and traditional appetizers for formal receptions, graduations and institutional events.
A port wine reception is the traditional Portuguese format to celebrate important milestones — university graduations, thesis defences, institutional tributes, diplomatic receptions, book launches and inaugurations. For over two decades we have organised port wine receptions at the University of Lisbon and at public and private institutions across the city.
The wine selection includes white, tawny and ruby Port (and LBV or Vintage for more formal events), accompanied by cured Portuguese cheeses (Serra da Estrela, Azeitão, goat cheese), regional charcuterie (presunto, chouriço, paio), roasted nuts, mini pastéis de nata, bolinhos de bacalhau and a variety of cold canapés. For celebrations with a formal toast, we include national sparkling wine or champagne.
The service is provided by uniformed waiting staff, with trays, proper port wine glasses and flutes for the toast, tablecloths and discreet decoration. Minimum 30 guests, from €20/person, with at least 7 business days of lead time. For protocol events or events with official guests we recommend 14 days for prior coordination.
